We meet on the second Saturday of the month,
currently rotating between Tampa and the Sarasota area.
Our meetings bring together artisans of every skill level,
and offer product demonstrations, lectures and hands-on workshops
in a friendly, noncompetitive atmosphere.
Our instructors range from nationally known experts like; Jeff Raum, Donna Phelps,
Glenwood Sherry and Gary Lord to our own members willing to share
their artistic talents and professional experiences.
In the past months we have had classes in gold leaf, Marmorino,
Orostone, color theory, American Clay, One Stroke, metallic foils,
mural design using stencils, Bella Fresco and
decorative techniques with Versiplast.
Exploring new products and learning new techniques keeps
our members current with the latest trends.
We often have "Show and Share" meetings where we bring
our favorite sample boards and portfolios.
"Educate, Encourage and Inspire" is the order of the day!

Our annual membership dues are $25 and run from January to December (no prorating).
These dues, and belonging to S.A.L.I., entitle our members to attend our workshops
at a much lower cost then an artisan not belonging to an organization such as ours.
Members also receive our colorful and informative monthly online newsletter.
Packed with pictures of our beautiful projects, upcoming events in our field,
and hints and tips for your art and business, our online
"Palette Splatter" keeps us "in the know"!
You must be a current S.A.L.I. member to join Florida's Golden Palette,
as we are a chapter of S.A.L.I. Benefits are many! Being able to attend
The Convention and Exposition in July is the highlight of membership.
Receiving The Artistic Stenciler Magazine, and having access to a
third-party liability insurance group policy at a very good rate are also plusses.
At the time of this writing, 824 members have their liability coverage
through this program. Please visit their website
